Class Types: Holistic Yoga, Yin Yoga, Meditation
As a retired Registered Nurse and Nurse Practice Educator specializing in critical care, I bring a clinical foundation to my holistic yoga practice. I started practicing yoga in 2002 as a personal pathway for wellness maintenance. My first thesis, written in 2003, explored the healing nature of yoga, tantra, and meditation—a subject I view as a true meeting of East and West.
I completed my yoga teacher training in 2023 at Chill Yoga through The Healing Tide School of Yoga and am a 200-hour CYT. I also completed an advanced meditation teacher training in 2026 at The Radiant Sutras School of Meditation and am a 500-hour RYT.
My teaching focuses on slower movements, such as Yin Yoga to energize soft tissues, Yoga vs. Osteoporosis to strengthen our bones, and Instinctive Meditation to nourish our life force while moving through the wise motions of life.
Instinctive Meditation is my first love, and I am delighted to offer meditation workshops through my meditation concierge practice at SomaMT.com.
