Here we are coming to the close of an unforgettable year. Thanks to technology, we’ve been able to continue a full schedule and bring Yoga into your homes. We have a few studio classes with a limited number of spaces, and most classes are on Zoom. If you’re new, we’re very happy to work with you in person, until you feel comfortable joining in on Zoom. We have found some additional benefits – no commuting, no parking issues or snow days.

Class passes are on sale this month – stock up for yourself or buy gifts!

Heidi has added a series of outdoor hiking and yoga classes. These are very popular, and you will see more of them in the New Year. There are a few specials this month, including a modified Sparkle Sunday event.

We have appreciated your support this year, and look forward to seeing what 2021 has in store! Be well and best wishes for the holiday season

We’re settling into our winter schedule with blend of online and in studio classes. Kimberly has moved to Northern Maine, and Ally has moved to Nashville, but you can still join them for classes. We are also enjoying welcoming students from other parts of the state and country. Much has changed this year, and some of it in ways that we would not have thought possible 12 months ago. Another perk, to our new way of life is no snow days!

A few high lights this month, include 4 free Community classes. Our teacher training program is nearing completion, and we have enthusiastic student teachers ready to practice. Another chance to do 108 Sun Salutations, and many more workshops listed below.

We’re posting a little late this month. It’s a been a busy one as we’re adjusting to the many changes that a new season begins, and you’ll see some new classes and a few time changes, too. Most of our classes are remaining on Zoom, with a few in the studio. If you are interested in trying out a class in person, please let us know, and we’ll try to accommodate you.

Kimberly and Aly are moving to Northern Maine and Tennessee, respectively, but we’re pleased that they will both continue to offer classes for us. A few months ago, we wouldn’t have thought this was possible – but here we are!

There are a few specials this month. On Saturday 19th, Heidi, Aly and Laura will be hosting a Fall Equinox 108 Sun Salutations. On Sunday 20th, Merry Matukonis will be host a workshop on improving Immune Function.

Finally, updates to the schedule and extra activities are added to Chill’s Facebook page.

Hope to see you on the mat soon!

What a year it has been so far? We’re 6 months into 2020, and there is so much happening on so many different levels that it’s incredibly challenging to keep up – and sane! It’s easy to feel powerless at times, and we can see the stressors playing out as people react to the events occurring at warp speed around us.

What we can do is take care of ourselves and look out for others with kindness, patience and support in all ways. Yoga practice certainly prepares us for this, so keep going in whatever way you can – and it’s also a good time to start if you are feeling in need of a little “me” time.

The studio remains closed; Zoom classes work well, keep us connected with our Yoga friends and saves us time spent in traveling and parking, so there is something very easy about it. Now, that the weather is improving, we have some outdoor classes – at the Great Outdoors and at Simard Payne park. Please register ahead for them.

Be well!

The studio remains closed for the time being; however, we’re finding Zoom classes are very popular. No commuter time, no parking…and we can all find a way to be together while maintaining physical distance. We feel very grateful that we have been able to keep our Yoga community together, and continue practicing.

We are available for privates with students, and are very happy to talk with anyone who wants guidance on which classes would be best for them to join.

Week of April 6th

April 5, 2020

We’re into our 3rd week of our virtual yoga studio, and we are so appreciative of your continued support. Who knew a month ago that our lives would be so changed? And who knew how we would be able to adapt to continuing our yoga practices through Zoom?

And here we are – a way to find continuation with our practice, and continue connecting with our Yoga family. While we live with so much uncertainty as we move through this historic time together, yoga is a fantastic way to keep grounded, keep strong and flexible and keep a familiar routine going. We appreciate you all.

Each week we will put out the schedule for the week. Register for classes on Schedulicity or send us an email. We will send you the link for Zoom.

Covid 19 Update

March 17, 2020
Studio Closed March 16th – 29th

After a great deal of thought and contemplation, we have decided to close the studio as part of an effort to “flatten the curve” and minimize the spread of the virus.

Currently, we are working on an online schedule. We’re feeling our way forward with this: we have recorded a few classes, and a few classes are being offered live on Zoom. We’re are all new to this – making it up as we go along – so we may get a full schedule here. However, the best way to check in with the day’s events are on our Facebook page. (If you don’t do Facebook, please email or call us – and we’ll keep you in the loop!)

The main thing is to stay well, put self care at the top of the list, know that we’re always here to help you with any aspect of your practice. (Especially, if you choose to spend more time at home developing a self practice). We’ve got a great community of teachers and students – we will get through this!!
