NEW! Gentle Yoga- Leigh Olesen, RYT 500
Thursdays, 9:30AM-10:30AM Chill Yoga

In Gentle Yoga, we will focus on and cover these basic principles during asana practice, while honoring where you are at in your body:
1)Breath Awareness:
Breathing practices used in yoga can help bring awareness to what's going on with your nervous system. Discover how specific breathing can change our stress levels, regulate our blood pressure and bring about calmness by activating the parasympathetic nervous system.
2)Alignment:
Universal and personal. Understanding how the muscles and bones move both generically for humans, and for you personally can make the difference in your journey through yoga.
3) Focus:
In yoga, the drishti, or focal point, helps to keep our minds from wandering. Being present in your yoga practice helps you to get the most out of the experience. Learn about internal gazing points as well as external gazing points.
